IN ENGLISH :-

Its been more than 25 years but this funny incident is still fresh in my mind .
I was returning from jamshedpur with my friends after giving my engineering entrance  exam.
We were 6 friends and we had no reservation but we still managed to enter into a train coach. There were no births available inside so we could barely sit . On a nearby birth there were few girls who had 3 births among them .

Suddenly one of the girls came towards me and asked whether I needed a sleeping birth. I was just taken aback and my friends looked at me mischieviously . One of my friend Satish whispered in my ears "lucky boy , she is probably attracted towards you and that's why she is asking you to sit near her " Even I was feeling a buzz in my ears . Hesitatingly and feeling the probe of my friends stares I sat on the seat next to the girl.

The rest of the journey was almost uneventful except a few meaningful  stares from my friends .  We all were almost asleep. Suddenly I heard some voices and it was the girl who asked me to sit on the seat near her . She told me that her station was about to come. In return i said her thanks. But the next words from the girl woke me up completely. She asked me to give 20 rupees for the seat as it was surplus for them and so she gave me seat in return of 20 rupees. I was a bit puzzled and my friends could not stop laughing I had only 40 rupees with me but i had to part with 20 rupees .

When the girls were gone , Satish came to me and whispered in my ears " loot gayi tumko " I wanted to speak but my throat went dry .

While returning to our homes I swear to myself " Never go to a girl when she calls you unless you know her .

 इस घटना को २५ से अधिक वर्ष बीत चुके है , लेकिन यह अजीब घटना अभी भी मेरे मन में ताजा है

मेरी इंजीनियरिंग प्रवेश परीक्षा देने के बाद मैं अपने दोस्तों के साथ जमशेदपुर से लौट रहा था।
हम 6 दोस्त थे और हमारे पास कोई आरक्षण नहीं था लेकिन हम अभी भी ट्रेन के आरक्षित कोच में प्रवेश करने में कामयाब रहे। कोई भी शयन उपलब्ध नहीं था, इसलिए हम बमुश्किल बैठ सकते थे। पास के शयन  में कुछ लड़कियां थीं जिनके बीच 3 शयन थे।

अचानक लड़कियों में से एक मेरे प्रति ओर आया और पूछा कि क्या मुझे सोने के सीट  की जरूरत है। मैं सिर्फ अचंभित था और मेरे दोस्त ने मुझ पर भद्दा गौर किया। मेरे एक मित्र सतीश ने मेरे कानों में "भाग्यशाली लड़का फुसफुसाए, वह शायद तुम्हारे प्रति आकर्षित हो गई है और यही वजह है कि वह आपको उसके पास बैठने के लिए कह रही है" यहां तक ​​कि मैं अपने कानों में एक भांति महसूस कर रहा था। अपने दोस्तों की जांच को महसूस करते हुए और मैं लड़की के बगल में सीट पर बैठा हूं।

मेरे दोस्तों के कुछ सार्थक झगड़े को छोड़कर बाकी यात्रा लगभग अनभिज्ञ थी। हम सभी लगभग सो रहे थे अचानक मैंने कुछ आवाज सुनी और यह लड़की थी जिसने मुझे उसके पास की सीट पर बैठने के लिए कहा। उसने मुझे बताया कि उसका स्टेशन आने वाला था। बदले में मैंने उसे धन्यवाद कहा। लेकिन लड़की के अगले शब्दों ने मुझे पूरी तरह से जाग उठा उसने मुझसे सीट के लिए 20 रुपये देने के लिए कहा क्योंकि यह उनके लिए अधिशेष था और उसने 20 रुपये की बदले में मुझे सीट दे दी। मैं थोड़ा उलझन में था और मेरे दोस्त हंसने से रोक नहीं सकते थे, मेरे पास केवल 40 रुपए थे, लेकिन मुझे 20 रुपए के साथ भागना पड़ा।

जब लड़कियों चली जाती थी, सतीश मेरे पास आई और मेरे कानों में फुसफुसाए "लूट गेई तुम्को" मैं बोलना चाहता था लेकिन मेरा गला सूख गया।

हमारे घरों में लौटने पर मैं खुद से कसम खाता हूँ "जब तक कि आप उसे नहीं जानते, जब तक वह आपको फोन न करे, तब तक किसी लड़की से न जाएं।
