Dolket: As rightly said that appearances are deceptive. With reference to the two boys, luigi the driver disagree to buy fruits from them due to their shabby apearence. Thus we can conclude that to earn money our apearence should not be like two brothers

It is truly said that 'Appearances are deceptive ' . In the story , 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona ' , the narrator and his driver , Luigi, meet two boys who were selling wild strawberries outside Verona . The two boys, Nicola and Jacopo, wore torn and oversized clothes , I.e , they were shabbily dressed. But they had dark earnest eyes and an attractive nature. At first, the driver ignored to buy the fruits from them , but the narrator was highly attracted towards the boys and so brought all the strawberries.

Later, the narrator found the same boys shining shoes, hawing newspaper, conducting tourist round the town and running errands . They even helped narrator in various ways. Their emotions were far beyond their age. Later, the narrator also discovered that the two boys were earning money to help their ailing sister. They were the true gentlemen.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!
