ANSWER

Mendel conducted monohybrid cross on pea plant and analyzed the result in the F1 and F2 generations. In the F1 generation all progeny shows, only phenotype i.e. dominant parent is appears. In the F2 generation, progeny shows phenotypes of both parents. He postulated that, it is due to the separation of factors in a pair. It is postulated as Law of segregation or Law of purity of gametes. He stated that, each factor in a pair separate during gamete formation, at the time of meiosis. so that each gamete receives only one factor for each character. It is called Law of Segregation or purity of gametes.

So, the correct option is 'Law of purity of gametes'.
