Hey!!!

This remark is made with reference to the two brothers Nicola and Jacopo.

=> In the beginning of the chapter Luigi the driver of the narrator discouraged the narrator from buying wild strawberries from the brothers because "they were shabbily dressed".

=> Later in the chapter, the narrator comes to know that the brothers were actually very hardworking,self-less and dedicated towards their job.

Thus appearances are deceptive.

Hey .....☺

Here's ur ans. ----------^-^

↪ Appearances are deceptive as it just shows the outer side of an individual .

In the chapter , two gentlemen of Verona ; Nicola and Jacopo had shabby appearance and seems to be untidy to the narrator but later he got to know their love , devotion , dedication and their true nature .

------------------------------------------------

It's true that first impression is last impression but just take it once in reality how can it be possible everytime , all matters much is ur attitude , behavior , character and nature.

✌Hope it helps
