Story of "The boy and the apple tree":

There is an apple tree near a small boy's house. He plays around the tree and enjoys so much that even the tree begins to enjoy the company of the boy and becomes fond of him. As the boy grows up, he doesn't have time to play with the tree and stops going there. The tree becomes sad for not seeing him. After many years the boy comes to the tree and seems sad. When the tree asks for the reason, he tells he needs money for buying toys. The loving tree immediately tries to help him out by suggesting him to pluck apples from it and sell those in order to get money. The boy agrees and does so happily.

Again the boy doesn't return for many years and then comes back sad. The tree who expects him to play asks for the reason for being sad. He tells he needs good shelter to play, but is not able to have one. The tree wants to make the boy happy and so tells him to cut his branches and trunk and then take the wood to make shelter, which he readily does.

Again the boy doesn't come back for many years. Later he comes and tells that he is too tired for which it tells him to rest on its root, his only belonging now.

The tree is like our mother. The tree sacrifices its whole self for the goodness of the boy. Similarly, a mother is the only soul, who willingly gives all she has to the children. The moral of the story is that no matter what we must not forget our parents, especially our mother. No matter what, she is the only person who is ready to give us unconditional love.
