We know that
Apple Loss 71% of their Weight While drying.

We Want 128lb of Dried Apples

Let Us Suppose the total weight of Apples be x

Then
71%x = 128
71x = 12800
x = 180.28 lb

Means We Need 180.28 lb of Apples to get 128lb of Dry Apples.

we want it such that the dried apples is eual to 128 pounds

128=71% of original weight

ok, percent means parts ouf ot 100
x%=x/100 and 71%=71/100

'of' means mulitply

128=71% of original
128=71/100 times original
multiply both sides by 100/71
12800/71=original
180.281690141=original
so about 180lb of  apples
