Answer:

In XI standard (non-medical), our school was having two sections named red and green. There was no clear difference that which section is more intelligent. But average percentage of marks of red section was higher than green. But top rankers of both sections got more or less equal marks. I was in green section.

When we came into XII standard, me with other students get shifted to red section because XII was board class and teachers were going to take extra care of red section students to enhance school board results.

But me and some other friends didn’t like it. The reason was:

For me, my all friends were in green section and I want to be with them. I can’t enjoy school without them.

For others, they have their favorite mathematics teacher in green section and didn’t want to study with red section math teacher. He was very aggressive and little crazy too. He used to beat students unnecessarily.

So, we went to director of school and requested him to transfer us back into green section because we want to study with green section math teacher. (We can’t say that we want to remain with our friends. This point we didn’t mention at that time.)

But director refused our request with logic that red section math teacher has more experience and he will taught us way better than anyone else so that we can get good marks in maths.

Then, after few days, we again met him and said, “Sir, the pace of study in red section is very much fast and we are unable to keep that pace. We are unable to perform well with this pace. Please ask teachers to move slowly so that we can synchronize with them.”

Director can’t ask teachers to move slowly because it will harm all red section students pace. So what he did was, he transfer us back into green section. We were happy. Our whole green section was cheering up. When board results came out, number of students who scored more than 75%, was same for both sections. And highest marks in mathematics was scored by a student of green section and someone said that those marks was also 2nd highest in district.

And that student was me.

So, if you want to change your section the best excuse is pace of section. If you are not so well in study, your excuse will be “current section pace is high” and get transfer into other section.

If you are well above than average, your excuse will be “current section pace is slow and I have no friend in this section for study related discussion” and get transfer into other section.
