Application for half day leave to look after your mother as your father is not at home

I'm writing this application requesting you to grant me a few days off from school.

The reason behind this is because my mother is sick at home and has no one to help her go by her days of being ill. My father also wont be at home from mornings to nights. No one will be present at home to take care of her
