Application of coordinate geometry
o Plot the given points in a Cartesian plane.
o Find the figure formed by joining the points in alphabetic order.
o Make it more attractive by drawing outline and beautify the figure.
o This may be pasted on an A4 size sheet and submit it to respective Maths teacher, after
summer break.
o Mention your name, class and section and the heading Application of coordinate
geometry on the cover page.

Draw the X-axis and Y-axis.

The point M lies in the second quadrant. Start from zero, the Origin.

Move 2 units from zero to its left side that is along the negative part of X-axis.

From there move 4 units along a line parallel to positive part of Y-axis i.e. upwards.
