Some application of evaporation are-

1) During summer, water gets cooled in earthen pot (surahi). The reason is that water seeps out to the surface through the microscopic pores in the pot and it evaporates. During evaporation, it takes heat from the water inside the pot which results in fall in temperature in the water so it gets cooled.

2) Doctors suggests to keep a water strip of cloth on the forehead if someone fell sick. The reason is that water from the strip evaporates and during the process it takes heat from the patients body which results in fall in temperature from the body of the patient.

3) Sweating allows evaporation from the body of humans during an increase in the body temperature. It takes heat from the human body which results in fall in temperature from the body of the human.
