Litmus paper is used as acid base indicator in the chemical industry because in acid it turns in to red color in acidic solution while in case of basic solution it gives blue colour.
Anthocyanins are one of natural indicators for pH determination.
Methylene blue: It is widely used as the indicator " redox indicator" . On exposed to reducing agent while on exposing to oxidizing environment it turns in to blue color.
Methyl red and methyl orange are used as acid base indicators.
