an isobar of cobalt is used in treatmant of cancer. As the atomic no. of two isobars is different they have different chemical properties, Unlike isotopes, isobars do not have any significant application in chemistry....

The atoms which posses same mass number with different atomic numbers are called Isobars. Ex: Ar⁴⁰: Ca⁴⁰ - Isobars C¹⁴: N¹⁴- Isobars Isobars does not posses significant appilcations.
