Explanation:

Helium: Applications. Helium was initially used in dirigible-balloons. Nowadays, is used just like argon, in the production of an inert gaseous atmosphere during magnesium, aluminum and titanium welding; it can be used in the cooling of nuclear reactors as transfer media, since it is an inert gas.

Neon is used in voltage regulators and indicators. Argon is used mainly to provide an inert atmosphere in high temperature metallurgical processes (arc welding of metals or alloys ) and for filling electric bulbs. It is used in the laboratory for handling substances that are air-sensitive.

Krypton is used in some types of photographic flashes used in high speed photography. Some fluorescent light bulbs are filled with a mixture of krypton and argon gases. Krypton gas is also combined with other gases to make luminous signs that glow with a greenish-yellow light.
