application of theory in to practice as every profession nursing profession had solid base theories which will be practiced during providing care . nursing training has a solid base knowledge which is essential for practicing nursing. different nursing theorist also developed different theories which can be followed during practice in hospital & community.for ex orem’s self-care deficit model says which type of patients’ needs what type of care. the serious fully dependent cases need fully compensatory care & partly dependent patientneed partly compensatory care& some patient needs supportive & educative care.not only this in reading theories the nursing students read the nursing process & its application in different settings which applied in day to day care making care plan & providing care. the nursing process is the common thread uniting different types of nurses who work in varied areas and is the essential core of practice for the registered nurse to deliver holistic patient-focused care. similarly a varieties of theories are discovered by different theorist can be applicable in different practice settings.
