The process of a liqud changing into vapour even below its boiling point is called evaporation.
Applications :
1.evaporation of water from the
surface of a pond .
2.preparing process of common salt
at shallow lagoons.
3.when we sweat,the sweat
evaporates by the heat from our
body.
4.cooling of water in matkas(earthen pot)
5.when we drink hot tea in a saucer.
6.Drying of clothes.
7. working process of desert coolers.
8.Evaopration of acetone when,we apply on palm and feel cool.

1. Hot tea gets cool over time due to evaporation - hot molecules on the surface gets evaporated taking away heat with them.

2. Wet clothes dry in sun due to evaporation - the water in wet clothes takes heat energy from sun and gets evaporated.  

3. Evaporation of nail paint remover when applied on nails - acetone in nail paint remover takes heat from our body and evaporates
