Henry's law states that thesolubility of a gas in a liquid is directly proportional to pressure of the gas; temperature constant. ... The some of importantapplications are : CO2 solubility in soft drinks, beverages, soda water etc. is increased by applying high pressure and bottles are sealed under high pressure.

The two applications of Henry's law are:-

1)In packing soda cans: To increase the solubility of carbon dioxide gas in soda water.

2)In deep sea diving: As nitrogen is a more soluble gas in our blood and at deep sea, pressure increases, so it's solubility also increases.

When diver tries to come rapidly to the surface, pressure decreases and dissolved nitrogen in his blood starts forming bubbles.

To avoid this, diver uses Oxygen diluted with helium
