Using Bandura’s social learning theory in the classroom can help students reach their potential. Students do not only imitate each other but also the teacher. Being a good role model, open to all the students, and holding the students to a level of responsibility will be imitated by the students according to Bandura. I will be a role model by not letting students turn in their work past the due date reinforce the importance of responsibility. The students can learn that they are held to this standard and they should hold it for all of their work. Group work is another way I will apply Bandura’s social learning theory.
