Answer: x=50, y=50

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of all angles in a triangle=180

80+x+y=180

By property of isosceles triangle, base angles are equal

i.e. x=y

Substituting x=y in eqn: 80+y+y=180 =>2y=100

hence  y=50.

And x=y, x=50
