the answer is
Explanation:
The Millennium Seed Bank Project (MSBP) is an international seed conservation partnership established in 1995 to help address the loss of wild plant diversity highlighted by the Convention on Biological Diversity. The project collected and conserved seed samples of over 24,000 species (10% of the world’s flora). It is now aiming to collect 25% of the world’s flora focusing on species which are threatened, have known uses or are at highest risk from climate change. Samples are duplicated within the Millennium Seed Bank (MSB) located at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew’s garden of Wakehurst Place in Sussex, UK. Additionally, the Project is carrying out the research necessary to maximise the effectiveness of seed conservation. As part of Kew’s Breathing Planet Programme the application of this knowledge in restoration and sustainable livelihoods will make a major new contribution to repairing and renewing damaged vegetation. The Project helps emphasise the need for institutes involved in plant conservation to work together at the national and international levels if a real impact is to be made on conserving dwindling plant diversity.
