the the poem 'Life' by Charlotte Bronte is a motivating and optimistic poem. The poetess save that the bad things in life are temporary. good things invariably follow it. Even during times of great adversity, hope will rescue us and help us to bear our trials. We must look at the positive side of the life, and and have the courage to overcome any mishaps or problems.

The rhyme scheme in the first stanza is abcb and dede and so on in all remaining stanzas. There are many figures of speech for example personification- 'What though death at times steps in'. Here, death is given the human quality of 'stepping in' . The special feature of this poem is that it it makes one feel good and is easy to understand. it reminds us that even if there are problems in life, there there will be better days ahead; that that there are always silver linings to all dark clouds. It is a happy and inspiring poem that gives us courage.
