The moat commonly accepted meaning of Eskimos is snowshoe- better.there are two main groups referred to as Eskimos are Inuit and yupik . Inuit in their language means the people.There are three main languages for Eskimos they are Aleut,Yupik and Inyupik.the Eskimos first entered into North America about 5000 years ago,crossing the Bering straits from asia. The population of Eskimos in different countries are about 2000 In Siberia,30000in Alaska,22500 in canada and 43000 in green land.
In summer,they move islands to hunt caribou and gather berries.sometimes they cover the circuit of more than 1100 kilometres. They cross snow and ice on sledges pulled by dogs,they travel on open boats called umiaks.They will use one weapon to hunt seals is harpoon.It is a knife.The Eskimos wear boots called shelter, trousers and hooded jackets called parkas.The shelter of Eskimos is igloo.All Eskimos groups belive in a supernatural power called sila and spirits(such as seena the goddess of life,health and food). shamans ( people skilled in performing rituals ) are believed to help establish and keep contacts with the spirit world.
I polar region it is almost dark throughout November, December and January, since sun doesn't rise at all.
Due to the cold,the upper soil surface of the region is frozen into a rock like state all through the year is know as permafrost.

we appreciate the eskimos because in that region it is too cool and there we can't grow crops they eat fish,meat, etc they don't have dresses to wear and they don't have any tasty food and we can't live there is no sun light inthat much problems also they are living so they are great
