Explanation:

It came from a religious background and Nissim wrote this poem trying to give the impression of anger, but also an underlying message of motherly love, along with a hint of culture and superstition.. it lost its sting. And spared my children.

The poem "Night of the scorpion" is written by the famous poet  "Nissim Ezekiel" .  In the poem poet tells about the love of a mother for her children . He depicts the love in a very aesthetic way. After hearing the news about it the people gathered and search for the scorpion but did not find it. In the end poet tells about the views of the about mother's suffering of people . Every one had the own opinion. The poet shows that the love of a mother is countless no matter what happens and a mother never think twice if she have to face situation like this.
