Tansen is one of a great write up by Hazrat Inayat Khan. It refers to how King praised him, gave him many a gem and referred Tansen as the chief jewel in his diadem.
Tansen was a singer in Akbar's court. It deals on his life incident on how he refused his lover Tani's invite to Akbar court and later how Akbar convinces him. The plot revolves on who Tansen married finally.
