"Vocation" is a poem by the famous poet Rabindranath Tagore. In this poem the poet takes into account the an approach of using 1st person perspective while speaking to the readers. It shows the life of a boy who spends time observing various people doing their work which goes on in every day lives.
This poem takes in a human interest approach and highlights the various characteristics of common people. This is a lovely approach where the common man is appreciated because the boy who is the narrator looks at each person like the hawker, the gardener and watchman. He looks at them and envies one of their qualities.  
Explanation:
This poem has a great message of how devotion to a job, commitment is what matters. For the narrator seemed much excited by these workers.
