Ballad of Father Gilligen:
It was a poem written by W.B.Yeats.
In this poem, a man is nearly dying. Priest is going to visit the man who is dying and its really hard for him when he thinks of convincing him and his family in their stress. He is really struggling to give hope to them.
Priest went asleep and wakes up. While waking up, his mind gives him hope. He thought that, god is going to send an angel. Angel will take the man's soul peacefully and will take him with her for the journey of heaven.
Poem portrays the message that, during our stressful and hopeless times, God will be there for us to help. Trust in God is a beautiful message portrayed in the poem.
