  • Title-Where the Mind is without fear?
  • Poet-Rabindranath Tagore.
  • Rhyme Scheme-It is written without any rhyme scheme.
  • Favourite lines- Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, where the knowledge is free,Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls, where words come out from the depth of truth.
  • Central idea-Freedom.
  • The poem has many figure's of speech i.e.in the line of the head is held high(Indians could hold their heads high but the expression is used to show that Indians were considered lower humans than British.
  • Special feature-Tagor is praying to god and asks him to make his country into the heaven of freedom.
  • Why I liked the poem-because the poem awakens the struggle which was faced by the early Indians and as a devoted citizen for the country,I was truly inspired by the words Rabindranath Tagore spoke.
