Appropriateness of the title of poem the cold within

The title suits the poem very well. The six men trapped in the cave, around the dying fire could have survived till the next morning had they been ready to forget all the rivalry and put their sticks of wood to use. But all the hatred or more clearly"the coldness" inside them prevented them from doing that as a result of which all six of them froze to death.

It has been rightly remarked:

"They did not die from the cold without ,                                                        They died from the cold within."
