Given:

(i)  The soccer ball has a radius of 14cm.

To find:

(i) Volume of air the ball can hold

Solution:

Since, the football is a sphere, the amount of air it can hold is equal to

V = (4/3)Пr³

where r is the radius of the sphere

Here, r = 14cm, so the volume of air is equal to

V = (4/3)П(14)³

Taking П as 22/7, we get

V = (4/3)(22/7)(14)³

= 11498.67 cm³

The total capacity of air it can hold is 11498.67 cm³
