As in Squares, The sides and angles are Equal/Same. Each interior angle in a Square is 90°. So, ∆APR and ∆ATR are Isosceles Right Triangles.

AP = PR (Sides are same in Square)

∴ AP² = PR² (Squared both the sides)

By Pythagoras Theorem in ∆APR,

AR² = AP² + PR²

» AR² = AP² + AP²

» 7² = 2AP²

» AP² = 49/2

» AP = 7/√2 (Rationalise the denominator)

» AP = 7(√2) / (√2)(√2)

» AP = 7√2/2 cm

∴ The Length of AP of Square APRT is 7√2/2 cm.
