The minimum resistance is always obtained when the resistors are connected in parallel combinations.

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/R4 + 1/R5

= 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5

= 5 /5 = 1 ohm.

Thus Rp = 1/1

therefore Rp = 1 ohm.

Answer:

We can put all the resistors in parallel

Explanation:

so,1/5+1/5+1/5+1/5+1/5

=1+1+1+1+1/5

=5/5

=1 ohm
