Answer:

1. Lodestone is a naturally magnetized piece of mineral magnetite they are naturally occuring magnets which can attract iron.

2.Natural magnet is a ore of iron that attract small piece of iron ,cobalt and nickel etc.

Limitation of natural magnet

1 they have poor magnetic property due to which their attraction power is low.

2 they are not found everywhere and not easily accessible by everyone.

3. Artificial magnet is that prepared artifically by people. EX include an electromagnet, bar magnets etc.

Reasons

1 we need to lift heavy weight.

2 another reason natural magnet are not strong than artificial magnet.

4. To test whether a give rod is made up of iron or cooper simply place near a bar magnet iron rod gets magnetized when place near a bar magnet due to magnetic induction while cooper rod does not get magnitized.

5. Given two material let us suspend them freely from a vertically pole and observe it carefully when they come to rest a magnet when suspended freely will rest only in north south direction according to earth magnetic field but the soft iron bar will rest in any direction.
