aravind has a kiddy bank .it is full of one rupee and fifty paise coins .it contains 3 timesas many fiftypaise coins has one rupee coins .the total amount of money in the bank is 35 rupees .how many coins of each kind ate there in the bank

Let no of ₹1 coins = x

Let no of 50 paise (₹0.5)coins =y

Total money =₹35

ATQ

=>3x=y ———1and 1*x+0.5*y=35——-2

Putting 1 in 2

=>x+0.5*3x=35

=>x+1.5x=35

=>2.5x=35

=> x=35/2.5

=>x=14

Putting x in 1

Y=3x=3*14=42

Therefore there are 14 ₹1 coins and 57 50 paisa coins.
