Answer:

length of the kitchen= 220 cm

breadth of the kitchen = 180 cm

Area of the kitchen = length × breadth

= 220×180

= 39600 cm square

Side of the tile = 10 cm

Area of a tile = side × side

= 10×10

= 100 cm square

Tiles required = area of kitchen ÷ area of tile

= 39600÷100

= 396 tiles
