A particular important and still contentious discovery is Archeopteryx lithographic a, found in the Jurassic solnhofen limestone of southern Germany, which is marked by rare but exceptionally well preserved fossils Archeopteryx is considered to be the first bird for living many years(150 million). Up to know there are 7 species of this organisms are known. This creature resembles the link between their ancestors and the modern birds.It is one of the important fossil ever discovered.

         However,its feathers,wings,tiny fingers all characteristics of modern birds.
