Archana bought some kilograms of wheat. She had some of it milled for use over three months, at the rate of 12kg per month. After that she had 14kg left. How much wheat had archana bought altogether?

Let the wheat bought by archana be 'x'

Archana used the wheat for 3 months at the rate of 12kg per month.

So , total wheat used by her=3×12

=36kg

Left wheat=14 kg

So,

x-36=14

x=14+36

x=50kg

Hence,the amount of wheat bought by her=50kg
