Archimedes principle states that when an object is partially or wholly immersed in water, it experiences an uptrusth which is equal to the weight of water displaced by immersed part of object

Archimedels principle states that if a body is immersed completely or partially in a fluid,it will experience an upward force that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the body. For example : Hydrometer uses Archimedes principle to determine the density of liquid.
