Here is ur ans......
From tropic of Cancer till tropic of Capricorn it is known as torrid zone. This zone gets direct heat of the sun and experiences extreme hot climate throughout the year.
Then arctic circle is the boundary between the frigid zone and temperate zone in the north. So it must have a moderate but yet chilly temperature (my common sense says)
