Given :-

• height of Raju is 25cm more than two third height of Renu

Find :

• Height of both

Explanation

Let,

• Height of Raju = x cm
• Height of Ranu = y cm

According to question

Case 1.

==> x = 25 + 2y/3

==> 3x - 2y = 75_________(1)

Case 2.

==> x + y = 320___________(2)

Multiply by 2 in equ(2)

==> 2x + 2y = 640 ________(3)

Add equ(1) & equ(3)

==> 5x = 715

==> x = 715/5

==> x = 143

Keep in equ(2)

==> 2×143 + 2y = 640

==> 2y = 640 - 286

==> 2y = 354

==> y = 354/2

==> y = 177

Hence

• Height of Raju = 143 cm
• Height of Ramu = 177
