Are a male horse skull and female horse skull different?

male and female horses have a different number of teeth. Males have 44, whilefemales have 36-40 — if they each have a complete set, that is. So, if you're ever looking at just a horse skull, you may be able to tell if theskull came from a male or femaleby counting the teeth.
