Are all compounds containing hydrogen acidic? With the help of a labelled
diagram describe an activity to explain this.

Take two beakers one containing HCl acid and the other containing hydrogen but its not an acid for ex., alcohol. In this solution, now two nails are connected on a cork and they are connected with 6 V battery. Switch on this battery, a bulb in the circuit containing HCl is glowing whereas alcohol does not. This shows that acid gets dissociated as H+ and Cl- ions, and these ions are responsible for the conductance and alcohol does not. So all acid has hydrogen and all hydrogen containing compounds are not acid...
