Nope, atomic mass, formula mass and molar mass are not the same thing because atomic mass represents the mass of an atom of an element which is represented by 'u' which means unit mass. Formula mass is the mass of any compound or mixture which can be represented in formula. Like the formula unit mass of NaCl is 58.5 u. Now, molar mass represents the mass of one mole of any element. Molar mass is represented in grams. For example, the molar mass of 1 Mol of Carbon is 12 grams.
