No left lung is smaller in size to make space for the heart

Your lungs are so big in your chest that they take up most of the room in there. You have two lungs, but as your eyes or nostrils are, they are not the same size. Instead, the left lung is slightly smaller with 2 lobes while the right lung is larger with 3 lobes.
