Given :

▪ Initial speed = 10m/s

▪ Acceleration = 0.5m/s²

▪ Time interval = 10s

To Find :

▪ Final speed of bus.

SoluTion :

➡ Acceleration is defined as the rate of change in speed.

➡ It has both, magnitude as well as direction because it is a vector quantity.

➡ It can be positive, negative or zero.

➡ SI unit : m/s²

Mathematically,

a = (v - u)/t

where,

a denotes acceleration

v denotes final speed

u denotes initial speed

t denotes time

☞ a = (v - u)/t

☞ 0.5 = (v - 10)/10

☞ v - 10 = 5

v = 15 m/s

Answer:

15m/s

Explanation:

a=v2-v1/t

given a=0.5

0.5=v2-10/10

5=v2-10

v2=15m/s
