Flammable and combustible materials are classified based on their flashpoints. Flashpoint is the lowest temperature at which the liquid gives off enough vapor to be ignited. Flammable materials are those that can catch fire and burn easily at normal working temperatures. Whereas, combustible materials are the ones that have the ability to burn at temperatures that are above working temperatures.
