(i) All citizens have equal role in electing representatives.
(ii) Parallel to the process of bringing individuals into the political arena, we find growing economic inequalities.

The democracy is only based on the political equalities.
• The democracy is based upon the public demand preferences.
• Due to the public preferences,the political rights are divided among the population in an equal basis in order to maintain the public equality.
• The religion,caste are also related with the political aspects and the democratic politics also provides equality in these social aspects.
The economic equality is not obeyed by the democracy,the economic distribution is based upon the person to person efforts.
