Demonetisation is a country's steps taken when then a government ha given a tender which should be played by use of outdated currency.This will happen to withdraw the tender by adopting the units of currency as a means of transaction.On the other hand,demonetization is a government process where the old units of currency withdrew from circulation but the new currency introduced  are of the same value say note and coins.The two terms do not mean exactly the same
