Unfortunately yes.Exams are considered as the standard tool to assess a student.Whatever you have said that “do exams actually measures intelligence or the memory power” is very much true.I believe the problem is not with the format of exam but the problem is the questions that are asked in exams which only tests the memory power rather than knowledge.
