Are fuels considered as combustibles ? why ? what is the definition of an ideal fuel ?
Answers
yes..
A fuel can be defined as a combustible substance containing carbon as the major constituent which gives large amount of heat on burning, which can be used for domestic and industrial purposes. The main sources of fuels are coal and petroleum oils etc.
An ideal fuel is one that on burning does not emit harmful gasses, gives more heat per weight, should burn optimally i.e. neither too fast nor too slow, and many other features.
Though there is no fuel that meets all characteristics of an ideal fuel still the closest or the nearest answer is Natural Gas
