No,girls are not treated equally in our society...there are many reasons behind this like girls cannot do hard working jobs like man...i don't mean to say that girls are not hardworking they are hardworking but lesser than the boys...

Nope, girls are not often treated equally like men in the Indian society and often discriminated against by the people in our society. For instance, girls are not allowed to go outside their homes after evening when it gets dark and they are often not sent anywhere alone. Girls are also subjected to a lot of crimes such as rapes and murders. We have to go a long way to ensure that girls are given equal treatment like men.
