Infant mortality rates (which measure the risk of dying) for these age groups show that Indigenous infants are 3 times as likely as non-Indigenous infants to die between 1 and 6 months of age, and twice as likely to die for all other age categories (except for 1 day–1 week, where the risks are equal)
